Chlorogasmic Juice

Chlorogasmic Juice: because liking yoga pictures on Instagram while laying on your couch doesn’t quite cut it.

Inevitably, after the holidays my diet and fitness routine fell off the track as hard as my blog posts did. Now that we are entering the caboose of January, my health has started giving me obvious smoke signals that it needs a kick in its own caboose. After surviving the flu epidemic through the flu, sinus infections, bronchitis, and the stomach flu; I went on a junk food bender to make up for all the lost weight and calories, because I have been eating like a teenager for the past few weeks. Since I am nowhere near my teen years, my body can not handle the kind of garbage that it once was able to. Fatigue, pain, depression, anxiety, being lethargic, nausea, insomnia, and irritability have been competing with my positive vibes and winning.

But NO ONE MESSES WITH MY VIBES! So today I am taking the initiative to conquer this blue mood monster. I have been slowly adding my workouts and cardio back in at least 3 days a week, and now its time to focus on my nutrition, because nutrition is the base of all your health needs and goals. With that said, my first juice recipe of 2018 will be giving us a kick punch boost of nutrients accompanied by added chlorophyll.

3 Kale Stalks
4-5 Medium Carrots
1 Apple
1 Thumb of Ginger
*Juice all ingredients through juicer, add to mason jar or glass of your choice. Then add 1 Tablespoon of Liquid Chlorophyll. Stir & enjoy!

Feel free to add a shot of Liquid Chlorophyll to any of your juices or teas!

You might see liquid chlorophyll in various posts by me, and there is a good reason for that. Growing up I had anxiety and depression problems that still haunt me to this day from time to time, so one thing I have learned through my research is that low magnesium levels are linked to these issues, along with so many other symptoms of low magnesium. After seeing how many of those symptoms were identical to my problems, I sought for a healthy way to add magnesium to my diet. Liquid chlorophyll helps build red blood cells by offering a boost of magnesium, helps detoxify, and speeds up the healing process. DING DING DING, exactly what I am looking for! I will be doing a more entailed Liquid Chlorophyll post in the near future, so stay tuned!
